LEVEL DESIGN Portfolio

This page showcases some of the digital concepts that I’ve designed for video games. This has been a media I’ve enjoyed working with in my free time for the last decade or so, and it has all just sat buried on hard drives until now! I plan to continue updating this as I sort through years of game levels and digital areas that I have stored.

Neverwinter Nights

Most of these works were created as part of a personal project that I work on in my free time using the Aurora Neverwinter Toolet. The finished product will take the form of a Neverwinter Nights single-player campaign-style module set in a fantasy realm. I have designed the characters, settings, and plot.

Other screenshots pictured were designed for and used by the popular Neverwinter Nights online server “The Wheel of Time — Shadow Rising”, styled after the famous novel series by Robert Jordan. The server ran from 2009-2015 and attracted several hundred players.

I also have a few selected works from another single-player campaign I’ve been working on, based on the popular Neverwinter Nights premium module “Shadowguard”. Shadowguard was created entirely with the base version of the Aurora Neverwinter Toolset (no custom hak, tlk, bin, or erf files), and the sequel is designed the same way.

World of Warcraft

These works were created using console commands within an independent World of Warcraft client. I’ve designed all of these areas to be suitable as city areas for other gamers to enjoy. I enjoy pushing the graphics capabilities of WoW to the limit, and hope to create breathtakingly detailed areas that encourage players to explore off the beaten trail. This particular world-building interface has been particularly rewarding: World of Warcraft features thousands of 3D assets and thus offers endless opportunity to create new objects and forge worlds that appear alive.
